As the deadline for the repatriation of illegal immigrants living in Pakistan is approaching, there is an acceleration in the steps taken at the administrative level.
The caretaker government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has appealed to the citizens for their cooperation in a message titled It is not possible for foreigners to stay illegally.
The provincial governments message says that Citizens of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should report illegal aliens residing in the province so that their return can be made possible before the scheduled date.
Pointing out the control room established for this purpose, it is said that the staff posted in this control room are providing their services 24 hours a day for immediate guidance information and solving the problems faced.
Reminding the deadline for voluntary eviction to be October 31, it said anyone seeking identification of illegal residents, issues related to eviction and guidance can contact helpline 1700.
