Army is fully engaged for the betterment of the people, Army Chief
Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that the army is fully engaged at the national and provincial levels for the betterment of the people.
According to ISPR, the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, the participants of the National Security Workshop visited GHQ where they were briefed about smuggling, power theft, drug proliferation, border control measures and measures to prevent illegal activities.
The participants were also briefed on international and regional security and national security situation.
On this occasion, Army Chief General Asim Munir said that the army is fully engaged at the national and provincial levels for the betterment of the people.
He also said that we are a strong nation which endured many trials to achieve peace and stability.
According to ISPR, the participants were also briefed about the repatriation of illegally staying foreigners from Pakistan.
The Army Chief also highlighted the positive impact on the economy as a result of SIFC.
NDUs annual National Security Workshop is attended by representatives of all schools of thought.
The workshop was attended by 98 participants including parliamentarians, senior civil and armed forces officers and civil society representatives
