10 terrorists including commander of outlawed TTP arrested in CTD operations
CTD arrested 10 terrorists including banned TTP commander during intelligence based operation.
According to the spokesperson of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), CTD conducted 117 operations in different cities of Punjab, during this intelligence based operation 10 terrorists were arrested.
The spokesman said that the operation was carried out in Lahore, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur and Sargodha, 5 terrorists including commander of banned TTP Qasim Afghani have been arrested from Lahore.
CTD spokesman said that explosives, IEDs, 3 detonators, hand grenades, mobile phones, arms and cash were recovered while the terrorists were identified as Agha, Nauman, Atta-ul-Rahman and Osama.
The spokesman further said that the other terrorists were identified as Siddique, Shahnawaz, Sufyan, Safdar, Abdul Haq and Qasim Afghani. The terrorists were planning to attack important installations.
