Peshawar: 4 terrorists killed in exchange of fire with forces
4 terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire during an intelligence-based operation by security forces in badabera area of Peshawar.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted on a tip-off about the presence of terrorists.
According to the ISPR, the security forces had effectively traced the whereabouts of the terrorists.
According to the spokesman, high value terrorist commander Sami alias Shenoy was also killed in the exchange of fire while commander Salman, terrorist Imran and terrorist Hazrat Umar Khalid were also killed.
According to ISPR, the slain terrorists were highly wanted by the law enforcement agencies, weapons, ammunition and explosives have also been recovered from the slain terrorists.
According to ISPR, the terrorists were active in terrorist activities including extortion and target killing.
According to ISPR, an operation was also conducted in Kalachi area of Dera Ismail Khan and a young man was martyred in a fierce exchange of fire with terrorists.
According to the spokesman, Lance Naik Mohammad Ejaz Khan martyred himself while fighting bravely.
