First phase of Load Shedding Free Peshawar campaign completed
The first phase of making Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, load-shedding-free has been completed.
According to the spokesman Pesco, in the first phase, actions were taken on the high loss feeders of Kent and City areas and electricity theft was eliminated from 17 high loss feeders.
Spokesperson PESCO says that during the operations, 135 coils and 92 tempered meters were also removed, while 14.7 million rupees were recovered as arrears.
According to the spokesman Pesco, fines of 1 crore 4 million rupees have been imposed for electricity theft, cases have been registered against 43 people while 11 people have been arrested.
