Another 490 families went to Afghanistan via Torkham
The return of Afghan refugees from all over Pakistan continues. Yesterday, on November 17, 490 families left for Afghanistan via Torkham.
According to official sources, 2398 people arrived in Torkham yesterday from different cities, from where they went back to Afghanistan.
157 Afghan families who registered their data in Nadra mobile vans and 333 families on special permit went back while 304 Afghan nationals were deported at Khyber Lindikotal entry holding point camp last day and late night.
According to the Interior Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2 lakh 18 thousand 482 people have gone through Torkham so far. 3 thousand 263 foreign refugees were repatriated from Anguar Aude.
However, 419 foreigners were repatriated from Kharlachi border terminal in Kurram district
According to the Interior Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a total of 222,164 people have returned to their homeland since September 17.
So far, a total of 3,263 illegally residing Afghans have been deported
