Decision to recruit more than 4 thousand primary school teachers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Planning to promote education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been completed. Under the plan, 4 thousand 169 primary school teachers will be recruited in the province through PTC.
According to the documents of the Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 489 literacy centers will be established in the province at a cost of 35 crore rupees.
Similarly, 3 billion 35 crore rupees will be allocated for giving scholarships to the students of tribal districts.
However, 2 crore rupees will be released for the aid of religious schools in the merged districts.
Free books and school bags will be provided to 6 lakh 3 thousand 367 students in the tribal districts during the next 3 years.
According to the documents, 6 billion rupees have been allocated for further expansion of 2-room schools.
3 billion rupees will also be spent on schools without buildings.
Moreover, 500 million rupees stationery will be provided to the schools to reduce the dropout rate of students in the merged districts.
However, 3 billion rupees will be given to bring the female students of the merged districts to the schools.
According to the documents of the education department, the education department needs Rs 1 billion to run community education centers to reduce the dropout rate.
