Pakistan Army will protect the homeland till the last drop of blood, Army Chief
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir visited Peshawar, Corps Commander Peshawar welcomed him.
According to ISPR, the Army Chief was given a detailed briefing on the overall security situation, ongoing operations against terrorism, repatriation of illegal aliens and the progress of socio-economic development in the newly merged districts.

The Army Chief also met the officers and men who displayed bravery and courage during various anti-terror operations and appreciated their unparalleled performance.

The Army Chief has said that the nation is proud of the performance of the armed forces, success is the destiny of Pakistan and the Pakistan Army has performed the selfless and sacred duty of protecting every inch of the motherland till the last drop of blood.
The Army Chief also gave a special address to the national workshop organized for the first time in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Addressing the participants, the Army Chief said that the security forces have achieved progress on the projects of stability and socio-economic development in the province due to the determined support of the brave people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Linking Pakistans prosperity to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Army Chief stressed that the nefarious intentions of the enemy forces for the peace and stability of Pakistan are being thwarted through a coordinated and comprehensive strategy.
General Syed Asim Munir also highlighted that illegal foreigners are adversely affecting the security and economy of Pakistan, their repatriation has been decided by the government in the larger interest of Pakistan.
However, the Illegal aliens are being returned to their countries in a dignified manner according to established norms
