Return of illegal foreigners continues, 2 thousand 268 more people left for their homeland
The return of illegal foreign residents from all over the country continues, yesterday another 2 thousand 268 Afghan citizens returned to their homeland.
Yesterday, 632 men, 578 women and 1058 children were included in the returnees, while the number of illegal foreigners who left Pakistan has reached 414 thousand 452.
Even before the governments announcement, a large number of illegal Afghans have been returning to Afghanistan from Pakistan for fear of arrest.
It should be noted that while addressing the participants of the national workshop in Peshawar, Army Chief General Asim Munir said that illegal foreigners are adversely affecting the security and economy of Pakistan.
He said that the government has taken the decision to return illegal resident foreigners in the wider interest of Pakistan.
