The federal cabinet has approved the extension of the stay period of the Afghan nationals in Pakistan who are waiting to be transferred to other countries,
According to the reports the Afghan residents can now stay in Pakistan till February 29.
The federal cabinet under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar approved the extension of the period of evacuation of Afghan citizens to other countries till February 29.
The Ministry of Interior had sent a summary to extend the stay till March 31.
