Taliban government claims to have arrested 40 TTP terrorists
It has been claimed that 40 terrorists of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan have been arrested in an intelligence-based operation by the Taliban government.
According to the Afghan news agency, the spokesman of the Taliban Ministry of Interior, Abdul Mateen Qani, has confirmed that 40 TTP terrorists have been imprisoned in jail after their arrest, but did not reveal the identity of the arrested terrorists, nor did they say that they were in jail.
However, the statement does not show how many leaders and commanders of what rank are included in these jails.
Spokesman Abdul Mateen Qani has said in his statement that 35 to 40 members of TTP are in jails and they are being investigated, the culprits will be brought to book.
It should be remembered that Pakistan has repeatedly demanded action and extradition from the Taliban government against TTP.
Moreover, TTP has been involved in terrorist incidents in Pakistan.
It has happened for the first time that the Taliban government has officially claimed the arrest of TTP fighters, but it has not been told whether these terrorists will be transferred to Pakistan for further action or not.
